Greetings from Northern Illinois CABA Central Home of the 9U, 11U & 15U CABA World Series!
On behalf of our CABA National organization, the Greater Midwest Sports
Association (GMSA) and our CABA World Series Committee, we would like
to cordially welcome all the players, coaches, families and fans to Northern
Illinois for this year’s prestigious “CABA World Series Experience!”
You will find that the community rolls out the red carpet for those
participating in the CABA World Series and we are very proud of the
international accolades, tournament of excellence and National World Series
of the Year honors received by all of those involved in orchestrating what is
now known as “The Gold Standard for World Series Events!”
Please review carefully our detailed 2011 CABA Registration information.
You will need to have a meeting with players and parents to distribute materials as well as secure signatures. It is imperative that this information is both accurate and returned in a timely manner. I thank you in advance for handling this responsibility which helps ensure all runs smoothly.
We realize that these are challenging economic times and thus we have
creatively packaged all of the additional investments necessary to coordinate a
tournament of this magnitude. Our “CABA Family Package” of $75 per player
provides a tremendous value to families in that we have bundled the normal
tournament experience costs into an attractive, cost savings format. In essense,
players are prepaying admission passes for the entire tournament for their
families (normal Family Pass for 4 = $130 or Parents = $90), and receive a
CABA T-shirt, all badge credentials, CABA Cash discount coupons and an
Official Program. We truly need all players participation.
Rest assured, we are a not-for profit organization and trust that you appreciate
the raffle tickets we have provided that will enable every player the
opportunity to earn his way to the World Series. The CABA National Team
Registration Fees, and our “CABA Family Package” revenues, will allow us to
meet our expenses (currently over $2000 per team) and thus continue with our
efforts toward providing the same opportunity for other aspiring student
athletes, and their families, to enjoy this CABA World Series for generations to
come. Selling the raffle tickets result in a player net cost of zero!
I look forward to having you meet our awesome Tournament Directors, at the
respective age levels, who will be running the day to day operations. Their
contact information can be found under heading “contact” on our web site @
www.cabaworldseries.net - Please feel free to contact me if I can be of any
further service outside their realm. They should become your age contacts.
Remember to get your binders, with all completed requirements, back to us
before Friday, July 15th as that is a critical date allowing us enough time to
properly proceed. Any variation requests, on any CABA issue, need to be
submitted for consideration prior to WS Registration via e-mail to Northern
Illinois Executive Director @ eheirman1010@aol.com
Don’t forget CABA World Series Family Night @ beautiful Miller Park
(architectural masterpiece) on Tuesday, July 26th @ 7:10pm featuring the
Chicago Cubs vs the Milwaukee Brewers. Luxury buses will transport teams
from their hotels and a sell-out is expected. The trip is open to all players,
coaches, families and fans. See details in the Registration materials First
Come First Served!
On behalf of our entire CABA Family, we sincerely thank you in advance for
your support. We are getting close to Showtime, Baby!
